How much bacopa is in each Neuro Recall serving?

Why does the Neuro Recall folate figure look off?
The label prints 600 mcg DFE from 320 mcg folic acid. By the usual conversion, that is about 533 to 544 mcg DFE (NIH ODS, Folate). Ask the brand which number is right.
Is the bilberry in Neuro Recall really bilberry?
The label names Vaccinium cyanococcus, which is the blueberry group. Bilberry is Vaccinium myrtillus (NCCIH, Bilberry). The berry extract may be blueberry rather than true bilberry.
Does Neuro Recall contain caffeine?
Probably a little. Green tea extract contains caffeine (NCCIH, Green tea), but the label gives no amount.
Is 240 mcg of B12 in Neuro Recall too much?
Unlikely to harm. Adults need 2.4 mcg a day, and no harm has been shown at high doses (NIH ODS, Vitamin B12).

Does Neuro Recall interact with thyroid medicine?
It can. Bacopa needs care with thyroid medicine (ADDF, Bacopa), and chromium may cut levothyroxine absorption (NIH ODS, Chromium). Ask your doctor about timing.
Can you take Neuro Recall while pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. The label says do not use if you are pregnant or nursing. Berberine and L-theanine are also advised against at those times.
Should you stop Neuro Recall before surgery?
Tell your surgeon you take it. Ginkgo may raise bleeding risk (NCCIH, Ginkgo). Follow your surgeon's advice on when to pause.
Can Neuro Recall hurt your liver?
