Neuro Recall Ingredients: All 14, What the Label Shows and What Research Found
Neuro Recall lists 14 ingredients. Four have printed amounts: folate, vitamin B12, magnesium and chromium. The other ten share one 635 mg blend. Bacopa has the best memory research, but trials used about 300 mg a day, more than the label order allows here.

More in the overview
Cards 05 to 14 share the 635 mg blend. The six without a full profile are covered below.
On the label
How much of each ingredient does Neuro Recall list?
Only four amounts are printed: folate, B12, magnesium and chromium. The ten blend items share 635 mg with no single figures (FDA, Labeling guide).
The order still helps. Blend items run from most to least by weight, so the fourth can be at most a quarter of 635 mg.

| Ingredient | Place in blend | Most it can be | Amount in research |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bacopa monnieri | 4 of 10 | About 158 mg | Usually 300 mg a day (ADDF, Bacopa) |
| Alpha-lipoic acid | 8 of 10 | About 79 mg | 600 mg a day (Linus Pauling Institute, Lipoic acid) |
| Alpha-GPC | 9 of 10 | About 70 mg | 1,200 mg a day, dementia trials (ADDF, Alpha-GPC) |
| Lutein and zeaxanthin | 10 of 10 | About 63 mg together | 10 mg plus 2 mg (NEI, AREDS2) |
Printed nutrients
What do folate and chromium do in Neuro Recall?
Neither the B vitamin nor the trace mineral has memory support in our sources.
Folate: 600 mcg DFE, as 320 mcg folic acid
Adults need 400 mcg DFE a day; the upper limit is 1,000 mcg folic acid (NIH ODS, Folate). Since 240 mcg folic acid equals 400 mcg DFE, 320 mcg is about 533 to 544 mcg DFE, not 600. Ask the brand. Folic acid can hide a B12 shortage and interacts with methotrexate and seizure medicines.
Chromium: 120 mcg, as picolinate
Adults need about 20 to 35 mcg a day, and scientists do not think chromium is needed for good health (NIH ODS, Chromium). With diabetes medicines it may cause low blood sugar. It may also cut levothyroxine absorption.
Blend, first and third
Why are cinnamon and bilberry in Neuro Recall?
Both are sold for blood sugar, eyes or circulation, and research backs neither for any condition.
Cinnamon bark extract
The heaviest blend item has no clear benefit in research (NCCIH, Cinnamon). The species is not named, and cassia cinnamon contains coumarin, a liver concern for sensitive people.
Bilberry extract and its Latin name
The label prints Vaccinium cyanococcus, the blueberry group; bilberry is Vaccinium myrtillus (NCCIH, Bilberry). Fruit extract up to 160 mg a day for 6 months was well tolerated.

Do lipoic acid, lutein and zeaxanthin help memory?
Not on current evidence, and their share of the blend is small.
Alpha-lipoic acid, printed "Alpa"
Cognitive trials were tiny and mostly uncontrolled (Linus Pauling Institute, Lipoic acid). It may lower blood sugar with diabetes drugs; children have been poisoned by the tablets.
Lutein and zeaxanthin from marigold
The AREDS2 formula uses them to slow vision loss in intermediate macular degeneration (NEI, AREDS2). The source makes no memory claim.
Not on the label
Which ingredients does Neuro Recall not contain?
No phosphatidylserine, no rhodiola and no added caffeine. Other products share the name, so match your bottle to these 14.
- Green tea leaf extract brings some natural caffeine (NCCIH, Green tea)
- Fillers: rice flour, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate
- Animal gelatin shell, so not vegetarian

Before you start
Do Neuro Recall ingredients interact with medicines?
Ginkgo, berberine, chromium, lipoic acid, bacopa and green tea extract each clash with common drugs. Keep taking your prescribed medicine and show the bottle to your pharmacist. See the side effects page.
FAQ
Neuro Recall ingredients FAQ
How much of each ingredient is in Neuro Recall?
Only four amounts are printed: folate 600 mcg DFE, B12 240 mcg, magnesium 250 mg and chromium 120 mcg. The other ten share a 635 mg blend. Bacopa, in fourth place, can be no more than about 158 mg.
Why do some Neuro Recall websites list phosphatidylserine or rhodiola?
Other products and ads use the Neuro Recall name with different formulas. The FYVUS bottle sold here has neither. Before paying, look for the FYVUS logo, 60 capsules, a 2-capsule serving and these 14 ingredients.
Are there any stimulants in Neuro Recall?
None is listed, but green tea leaf extract naturally contains caffeine, and no caffeine figure is printed (NCCIH, Green tea). If caffeine keeps you awake or raises your blood pressure, take the capsules early in the day.
Is the folate amount on the Neuro Recall label correct?
It looks off. By the standard conversion, 320 mcg of folic acid equals about 533 to 544 mcg DFE, not the 600 mcg DFE printed (NIH ODS, Folate). The 320 mcg of folic acid stays under the 1,000 mcg upper limit. Ask the brand to confirm.
Why does the Neuro Recall label call bilberry Vaccinium cyanococcus?
It may be a label mistake. It says bilberry but prints Vaccinium cyanococcus, the blueberry group; bilberry is Vaccinium myrtillus (NCCIH, Bilberry). Neither berry has strong memory evidence.
Which Neuro Recall ingredient is best for memory?
Bacopa has the most memory trials, with small changes at about 300 mg a day (ADDF, Bacopa). Here it shares 635 mg with nine others, so it can be at most about half that. None of the 14 treats memory loss.
